Sweatshirts are $30 and sweatpants are $25, but if you purchase both, you get $5 off for a total of $50!

Order forms will be available in the ASB office next week for you to order your own personalized class sweatshirt and sweatpants! Order forms and money are due to the Class of 2011 mailbox next to the ASB office by next Friday, November 14-- NO EXCEPTIONS! So turn them in early :)

Hey 2011!

Our Class Sweats Contest has begun! The contest will be similar to our T-shirt contest, in which all class members are encouraged to create a design by hand or on the computer. If you would like to submit a hand-drawn design, please scan it and e-mail it to mvhs2011@gmail.com. We recommend using customink.com to create a design via the Internet, following these steps:

1. Go to customink.com
2. Click on 'Hoodies' or 'Sweatpants' under 'Sweats'
3. Click on 'Gildan Lightweight Hooded Sweatshirt' (the 2nd option) or 'Gildan 50/50 Sweatpants' (the 1st option)
4. Choose white for sweatshirts and black for sweatpants, and design away! Designs should include some sort of reference to our class (Monta Vista, 2011, etc.), and some sort of catchy/appealing phrase or visual. Please keep your designs school-related and appropriate, and don’t forget to design the BACK side as well as the front!
5. When you’re done, click on Save/Send. Name sweatshirt designs “Hfirstname” (i.e. “Hkelly”) and sweatpant designs “Pfirstname” (i.e. “Pkelly”) and send the design to mvhs2011@gmail.com.

Keep in mind that our class members will be wearing these sweats for the next 3 years of high school (and beyond!), so try to keep them generic to 2011, instead of basing them on just sophomore year. Also, the sweats will come in a variety of colors (most likely white, black, and grey), so make sure your design would be relatively easy to tweak for different colored backgrounds. Lastly, don't forget to LEAVE SPACE FOR PERSONALIZATIONS on the sweatshirt, and for the sweatpants if you want :)

The DEADLINE for submitting designs is this MONDAY, November 3 at midnight. The top designs will be posted on mvhs2011.org and voting will next week. We plan to distribute sweats by the 1st week of December so you have them for when winter rolls around :)
